Odom, Kardashian home hits the open market after divorce

Our Virginia readers may not be familiar with family law in the state of California; however, they are likely familiar with the celebrity marriage of Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian. Over the years, their relationship has played out on television.

Despite the fact that the couple recently divorced, they are not done with one another just yet. It is being reported that the home the couple shared, located in Tarzana, California, has been listed for $5.499 million.

The couple purchased the home in 2009 after getting married and have decided to sell it now that they have divorced. With 8,347 square feet, seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, there is plenty to fall in love with.

Fortunately, the couple had a prenuptial agreement in place. This will go a long way in making the act of property division much easier. That being said, the home is something the couple purchased together. With both of their name's on the title, it will be interesting to see how they decide to split the money when the house is finally sold. Obviously, it would have made the process of selling much easier if only one name was on the title, but the divorce has already determined who will get the sale proceeds.
